Wild 95 Morning Drive

I understand that this station is in the WPB market but comeon this is like listening to country bumpkin radio. They have allowed that yahoo sidekick to talk over Kevin and Virginia who were small market radio enough without this anoying guy talking over everybody. West Palm Beach is no Miami but this is the best they can do for morning drive?

What happened to this station? They started off with innovative radio including a great talent at night JoJo and PK Playhouse in the morning. This station has become unlistenable.

It's obvious YOU don't like them, but you can't argue with success. At first glance, they alternate between 1st and 2nd 18-34, and are usually top 5 25-54. And, hasn't this show been on the air for, like, 10 years?

I can't handle the replay of the morning show in the afternoon drive. Who wants to listen to the same crap twice a day????
 
Clear Channel has all but ruined Wild. As many of you have noted, the station started with so much promise, first returning CHR to its rightful Palm Beaches' home, and then bringing us some great jocks and good music. Now, we have a morning show rewind in the afternoons, the ultimate cost-saving tactic. The reverse of what Howard Stern once said to describe one of his early radio stations has become true about Wild: CC took a great radio station and turned it into a dump.
 
I wrote that with the assumption that there wasn't (yet) a PD. Perhaps I am wrong. But assuming they have no PD, the costs of re-running Kevin and Virginia are minimal (there must be a contract stipulation about allowing for replays). Without a PD, PM Drive jock, or even voice-tracked jock doing PM drive, CC has saved themselves money.
 
Valentine is live at the station. However, Toby Knapp is voicetracked, Kane is voicetracked. The only live DJ's at this station are Kevin, Virginia, Jason - Morning Show - and Valentine (who is middays).
