CBS Radio is now streaming Wild 98.7 LIVE on the web. This station sounds real good but I see it behind Clear Channel's 95.7 The Beat.

The new Wild 98.7 stream beats the Beat's stream easily. At least CBS knows how much output they need to push towards the encoder when they're sending the audio. I had to max out my sound card's WAV mixer settings just to barely hear the "line level"-like sound of "The Beat" on my speakers. Be careful, when CC inserts local ads over the The Beat's local commercials, you're in for a ear-splitting surprise from the level differences. Even the IDs and sweepers that are also going out over the air are louder than the music audio during streaming. Fixa-the-mixah!
