WILD-AM Boston airchecks from 1993

yoooooooooooooooooooooo, I remember Sky, she was the BOMB!!!!! Those were the good days. It is so sad what is now going on here in Boston. There is no (True-24/7) Urban AC Radio Stations in Boston. The least we have is about four (Major) Pirate Radio Stations playing Urban AC/, and the others play Caribbean and Hip Hop. The only down side is most of those Pirate Radio stations can only be heard in four of Boston Urban Neighborhood Cities. If you do not live in that area, you can not get those stations good. Unless you have access to listen to a computer broadcast of their station. If you have a good car radio with a good antanna, you might be able to pick up these stations outside the city but with very limited reception. That's if you're lucky. But 99.97% of the time, these stations can only be heard in those four Urban Neighborhood cities of Boston.

It's so sad. The other cloest we used to also have to 1090 was "Star 93.7" which is now called "93.7 Mike FM" "Star 93.7" was an alternative to W I L D 1090, especially when 1090 signed off for the day.

Anyways, Boston Radio Program Management Personal has to do something, put their heads together to get a Urban AC station in Boston. If they can not get an Urban AC station, then get an AC station, but focus on NEW Urban AC music as well, and maybe put on some weekend Urban AC Syndicated Radio shows such as "The Countdown with Walt Baby Love" or "Sol Kafe", or "Cafe Mocha" 92.9 would be the perfect station for this, because they have the strongest signal for this part of Boston, Massachusetts and it comes in perfect both inside and outside the city. Radio Program Management Personal has to do something here
