At 12pm Mountain Time AGM Filpped 97.7 to OMG Radio

First few Tunes as best I can tell were

Green Day Know Your Enemy
Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feeling
LMFAO I'm In Miami Bitch
Paramore Ignorance
Cobra Starship Good Girls Go Bad
Everlast What it's Like

OMG! It seems like the next generation brand, along with AMP. It will probably end up going Mainstream CHR, but the brand has a lot of potential.

Check out their website: www.977omgradio.com. It seems verry interactive to me.

Only thing is: I can’t find a stream for this station. AGM, I know you don’t stream, and I know you h8 the royalty fees, but OMG! Cmon here! It’s a new station – a new brand. If you’re trying to reach teens with this brand, you might wanna make an exception, and stream this station, because most people listen to radio online. If you don’t, you will flip format again next year.

Of the markets I know, Albuquerque is the most flipped out market.
New formats have come and gone in abundance during the past few years.
My opinion only, it is difficult to push a new format in an over-radioed market such as Albuquerque. The main formats are covered and have been on for many years. Available listeners have made their choices. Very hard to sway them away or toward a format.
Two country, hip-hops, classic hits (rock), a dominant talker, a couple of sports..
what's left? It's extremely hard to "wow" an audience in this day in age.
Power is a duplicate of KKSS with minor music differences, (Is Kanye still on?)..
OMG..a work in progress. Nothing will be decided on this format until about this time next year, when the ratings settle in. I believe it was Simmons back in the day that was the king of format switches, but now AGM seems to have taken that crown. Best of luck to them.
