WiLD Needs to change the iHeartRadio full song promos

Now that they lean urban. The 'Download this song at iHeartRadio' Promos do not fit in. They sound almost Hot AC.

htowler, Wild still doesn't lean Urban because the Hip-Hop songs they are playing are on the Rhythmic charts. They don't sound no where near Urban compared to HOT 107.9, V103 and STREETZ 94.5

SHAWTY is correct to an extent. I spoke to a good source from another CHR Rhythmic station and CHR Rythmic is similar to Classic Hits in the sense it can lean in one of two directions.

Prior to power, WILD was CHR Rhythmic that leaned pop vs Urban. Some CHR Rhythmic stations do in fact lean urban vs pop and that is exactly what they are doing. Hints the line, Atlanta's hit music and hip hop station.

Classic hits does the same with some stations leaning pop and other's leaning rock.

A lot of people must not notice the difference in sound because a lot of people are still getting on the WiLD website begging them to play One Direction. Eventually some folks will notice certain songs they personally like missing then go to another station. I wonder if they'll either:

A. Search the dial and check in case there's a new station playing the hits they like, or
B. Go back to Q100, which is likely also still in their presets.

I guess if Power 96 Billboards are around then people may switch out of curiosity thinking "ok maybe that station will play the things WiLD seemed to stop playing. But I do honestly wonder how many people seriously realize a drastic change in WiLD's format. Maybe some think "oh well all those songs that stopped playing must've gotten old! ...or I keep missing them."

Never mind - just heard a promo for both Power 96.1 the hit music station and WiLD 105.7 hits & hip hop so I guess people are being informed. Not sure why they don't go look for their One Direction there.

There is an alternative/pop rock song (Secret State - "The Biggest Mistake") playing as I stream WiLD and type this. Why are they playing this on the streams? Not a bad song though. I may become a Secret State fan.

The afterhours electronic/edm show probably should be moved to Power 96.1!

I still feel as if they should've just put WiLD on 96.1, but if they can make both work, more power to them. I think I like WiLD more, as Power is too poppy.

Wild 105.7 is not targeting African-Americans. It sounds like their primarily target is white kids north of I-285.

Sounds like the same target as 95.5 The Beat.

KDM- I was laying in bed on facebook last night reading all the "I HATE YOU" power messages and something struck me. All the negative publicity that Power has received regarding the switch from protests at the CC offices to an actual news story on local television to now new bumper stickers - Ever thought this may actually be a good thing for Power 9-6-1 for the people who don't keep up with change on the radio like we all do? Free advertisement.
