Wild Speculation?

With the possibility (liklihood?) of Diana Laird leaving Channel 933 in the wake of the Payola scandal (nationally, all other PD's involved have been fired), has anyone considered the possibilities of Tracy Johnson replacing her? He and Bob Bolinger have a track record together. It would be a cut in power for Tracy (he's currently the PD and GM), but maybe they would hand him MY 94-1 as well. Any speculation?

I'll bet you're not the first person to connect those dots...

A cushy gig is nice... as long as there's some challenge in it ;)

Ok, I would like to know where this so-called "wild speculation" is comming from. It's not on their website, that's for sure.
I wish to know the person, and where they got it from. If there's anything I dislike, it's rumors. So lets give this thing some legs. Where's this rumor originating from? Someone who knows, or just thinks that Tracy will re-appear on a certain even numbered station lower than 95.7?

And, if I don't see an answer, I'll just make this post again...

Why would hire someone who has made one really bad decision after another? Decisions so bad that they have your station on a monorail to obscurity. As far as Diana goes she hasn't been found guilty of anything nor to my knowlege has she been charged with anything. But some of you may know more than I. I do believe that in light of some of the recent changes put into place by Tracy Johnson he would have a difficult time programming a jukebox.

You won't need to, because if this remains unsubstantiated, the whole thread will be history.

OTOH, you are all free to discuss what kind of management shuffles may happen. Just don't call it "speculation", "prediction", or "rumor".

Don't make me stop this car and take off my belt!

I don't think that Tracy would be a fit for 933. I'm thinking
that some new talent is in order.

Tracy has got to be making fat bank with Midwest TV. I sincerely doubt CC can afford him at this time. However, after Jack tanks, Tracy may be looking at lots of different scenarios. Geez. I can't believe I'm saying stuff like this about a man I respect(ed) so highly. I want the best for him, but like a good captain, he's gonna have to go down with his ship. It might really be a tough one to recover from.
