WiLD Things Happening (Doors Opening)

So, for the longest time, I've been suggesting it;

*First, a rhythmic top 40 format in Atlanta.
*Second, that rhythmic top 40 (or someone else) to do an afterhours late night weekend dance mixshow.

When I first suggested it, it was like I was trying to invent space travel or electricity for the first time - everybody was convinced that a rhythmic top 40 could never work there and people thought I was outrageously crazy for suggesting a (late night) electronic dance mixshow in ATL. on top of that. As usual, I took a lot of heat for presenting the idea(s).

-- Now Flash Forward to Today --

... and I am happy to announce to electronic music fans everywhere that we now have, yet again, another new station embracing and helping the sound!

THE NEW WWVA-FM WiLD 105.7 / 96.7 ATLANTA PRESENTS:
Prototype Radio - "is EDM open format with music selection consists of everything from Electro, House, Techno, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, etc.. The show is hosted and produced weekly by Bree and Andre Perry." More details, Here: http://www.prototyperadio.com/about/

By the way, folks, the show has JUST NOW STARTED. If you're up now, you can listen live

Doors for the electronic sound just keep opening EVERYWHERE!

Maybe you should walk from Atlanta to Chicago to celebrate this. At least this time you won't be the only one walking.

This is wonderful that CHR stations are embracing the dance format. I can't believe even Clear Channel is getting on this trend with their "Buzz After Hours" mixshow on Kiss 95.7 in Hartford and their dance format on KDWB-HD2 and 102.5 translator in Minneapolis.
