This has to be a new low in West Palm Beach radio. Yes, corporate cheapness is reducing the quality of radio nation-wide, but this is such an obvious money-saver that it makes a mockery of the entire station. Kevin and Virginia are great in the morning, do not get me wrong. But what happened to the days when Afternoon Drive was the second most-important shift? What a disaster...
 
Scott, I 100% agree with you. Just when you think Cheap Channel can't get any worse. It's sad. They are the nightmare that just won't go away.

If I'm doing afternoons on any CC station, I would be VERY afraid right now.
 
No, Kobe took a job at B94 in Pittsburgh. Maybe he knew this was coming. Cheap Channel is doing this in markets as big as Chicago. If CC will do it there, you can bet they will do it in WPB and Miami.

They just did this in Charlotte as well on Lite 102.9. Most of the afternoon show is voice-tracked. Cheap Channel has hit a new low.
