WILK AT 60!!!!!!

Yup. The Yonk has it right and I mentioned it on my show today. 19-and-47 the station went on the air. At one time, AM-FM-TV.

I had this 8 and 1/2 by 11 book the radio stations used to put out in the fifties. It had everything in there, at least a hundred photos of the AM, and the TV station too. Furiously tried to find it before today but couldn't. It'll turn up when I least expect it.

Since WILK is celebrating, I gave them a listen this morning as I slogged through the ice, snow, sleet mess. Sue Henry did the first 23 minutes of her show without taking a call, and without once mentioning a phone number. Is that typical?

Always a possibility of phone problems. i.e.: someone sliding into a phone pole and taking out the critical wires.

Could be, but shouldn't you share that with listeners? She was asking for calls on a couple different topics.

"Beats me," said the masochist, as he whipped up something to eat.

You need to be examined closely and monitored every thirty minutes. That said, it did make me LOL as the kids say.
