WILK Drops Paul Harvey Replacement "Huckabee Report"

As of Monday, WILK will drop the "Huckabee Report" to focus on additional local programming time. As much as I will miss Paul Harvey, Huckabee just wasn't cutting it for me. I liked Gil Gross, but I have heard that he has a full time radio show on KABC in Los Angeles.
 
If I were at ABC I would have had Paul Jr. continue to do the early morning 5 minutes news. I liked the news of the werid approach he was taking on the program. Have Gil Gross, Mike Huck, Fred and others rotate on the 15 minutes show and re-run classic Rest of the Stories with Paul.

It is clear no one person would ever fill the shows of Paul Harvey.
 
They really shouldn't be trying to "fill" Paul Harvey's shoes. They should just start over with a new program, with a new person. It's a fool's errand to just try and put someone in his chair and act like Paul's just out for awhile....
