I was perusing Lubbock Online this afternoon and found this:

Isn't Wilkes already in court against the new afternoon guy on Walker's station? Is this an extension of that or yet another Wilkes court suit? Or is that the wrong David Walker? I'm assuming it's the one from 1420/105.3.

Wilks doing what Wilks does. I doubt you would see them file a suit against Cumulus, Clear Channel, Town Square or any of the other big boys. Wilks is like the fat kid on the playground, picking on the little guy until the football player shows up and puts fatty in his place.

wouldn't it be ironic if they hired somebody under a local non-compete.. i know they have talked to a few of them.. :-X
