Was in WB yesterday had to take a friend to the Kirby Center, I hung out at Public Square had my portable HD radio with me...all the HD-1 and 2's were loud and clear, much stronger than the Philly HD's. 98.5 had a comedy, WILK had Jazz the Mountain had Live Rock WGGY had blues and many others. I forgot the other formats on the other channels...Also if you love Rock you are in luck, so many rockers...97.9, 107 Rock, 105, 102 the Mountain, and many others....All the stations were very strong and clear and like I said the HD's were all perfect....

Thanks guys that was my intention to compare to Philly HD's...I wonder if the WB HD's are using the new HD power increase guidelines...

Don't know if you're a jazz aficionado like I am, but I was wondering what the smooth jazz on WILK-2 sounded like. I'm assuming they're picking up the Broadcast Architecture network or something to that effect. Do they have nice liners/sweepers or anything like that?

I know when WJJZ 106.1 originally went off-the-air, they put it on the deuce, but now I don't think it's there anymore. I'm not near enough to Philly to test it out on my HD radio and find out for myself.

Sounds a bit more uptempo than the old Smooth Jaz 97.5. Did not hear any liners or jocks...only thing that stood out was the great signal and sound quality. I was curious about the transmitter site so I checked out Radio Locator and put the coords in Bing...looks like a small tower right off the TPKE north of WB, a four bay, not on any high mountains like most of the other transmitters, the FM main signal is not too strong or that high...the HD 2 must be putting out some good power I assume...
