I really expected to hear spots on 1190 by now. Does anyone know if they ever plan to sell advertising?

Shows how long I stopped listening. When the heck did they go contry? ???
Loved the 24/7 Beatles a few years back and when they kicked off "The Mighty 1190 is Back" I thought finally we are getting the good old metroplex AM stations back. Guess not! :-[ Can't we get one good AM Top40 Station back? I know there was someone doing an LPFM around the Valley View Mall area. Is that still around? I can't find it anymore.
That sounded great only it was missing the personality (no boss jocks). I guess I'm just getting old now and miss the good old days of radio.

I noticed First stopped using "Lone Star 1190" and are calling themselves "Cowboy 1190"... I wonder what promtped the change? CC's KWFS-FM in Wichita Falls is "LoneStar 102.3", perhaps that had something to do with it. First doesnt care about 1160 and 1190. Like all thier other stations, they just want to unload them as quickly as possible.

HyLitRadio.com 1190/KLIF jingles

Get off your seat and on to the Philly beat, and check out the sound we’re layin' down on HyLitRadio.com. Tune in, give it a spin, and hear what the fantastic WIBG/WFIL Sound of Philadelphia is all about, from the man who brought the 'Philly Sound' to town, 'cause we’re playin’ your jingles from KLIF/1190, 1480/KBOX, 1320/KXYZ, 57/WFAA, KFJZ and a whole lot more from all over the USA.  Listen for your favorites at :05 & :35, every hour.
In the mean time, in between time, keep your motor spinnin, it's only the beginnin!
Stay cool, but don't freeze.

Warmest Wishes,

Hy Lit

Hy Lit & the Beatles Come Together. Hear it on HyLitRadio.com, read about it and WIBG first on Radio-Info Philly board.

Just checked out 60's radio. This guy is very silly and corny. Now i did like Hy Lit's site. BELIEVABLE and Entertaining.
