Will 950 pick up Bruno's new syndicated night time show?

Now that he's been hired by the Content Factory and will launch in LA Monday night on KLAC, it'll be interesting to see what some of the stations(like PEN) do with Dan Patrick who is with the same company, but is delayed till nights in many markets.

Will PEN take the Philly guy live in Bruno, or keep DP on when these important MLB playoffs and NHL and NBA games are ending and Patrick is on 10 hours later.

Seems like a no brainer to take Bruno. Tape delayed talk is bad enough. Tape delayed sports talk is ridiculous.

Does it matter? ;D It is 10pm at night. Don't think 950 is going to beat WIP with late night programming....whether it is Bruno or Dan or static.

Do you think it would be out of the question for TCF to try and strongarm WPEN into keeping Dan Patrick in some way, shape or form - perhaps force them to clear him live? - if WPEN wants the Bruno show?

the question isn't whether WPEN will beat WIP in that slot, the answer is Bruno is a better listen than the illiterates WIP throws on the air to spew the same tired opinions and callers. WIP reinforces to the local yocals that bad radio works because it's "local only" and insults the intellect of Philly by giving them inferior product because that's what this city is used to. Works the same way for action news and KYW. When people don't know what's better, they get stuck with bad content and WIP has lots of bad talent waiting in line to go on the air for free to hear themselves talk.

This retort rarely makes any sense. I can't say someone on the radio sucks unless I'm good on the radio? What does one thing have to do with the other?

I'll refrain from pointing out the irony of one poster criticizing "illiterates" and another poster attempting to retort the criticism without using capitalization or punctuation.
