Will 96.5 go to a Holiday format?

Any bets if 96.5 "Kiss Country" in Cedar Rapids will take on the holiday format this year? Clear Channel has some years, other years not. The Kiss Country format appears to be performing rather unspectacularly. A holiday/Christmas format would almost certainly give it a temporary boost in ratings.

One year they kept Mix in the regular format and played Christmas music on Kiss Country when it was on 95.7. They were country flavored Christmas songs. Putting Christmas music on 96.5 certainly can't hurt any as they have nowhere to go but up. They could still have the local morning show and temporarily put the Premium Choice voicetracking on the shelf for a while.

Looks like they opted to keep the Premium Choice crap. I thought maybe they would flip something. Even 1360 KMJM would probably do better with a holiday format, but they don't ever seem to flip AMs to holiday. Clear Channel has really taken a dive in this area. Flipping 95.7 (WMT yet?) to talk was a waste of a station. WMT AM was the only talk station in Cedar Rapids. There was no reason to bring talk to FM.

KDAT is probably raking in quite a few listeners.
