Possibly. Judging by the subtle insertion of ‘Buzz’ into liners and bumpers, I could see the name being fully restored, as the name still has strong recognition to its core audience and its place in the format (and listeners have likely continued to call it as such after the rebrand). As to the timing, not sure, possibly as a lead-in to Labor Day weekend.
(Also, ‘we are the Buzz in Kansas City’ has been mentioned in legal IDs ever since the rebrand.)
