Will Any Networks Carry Penn State Football?

I'm surprised they didn't consider any kind of 'empty stadium' game, but again, that's punishing State College when they're trying to punish the administration.

The people who are really going to end up getting punished here are people like me, the taxpayers of Pennsylvania.

-NCAA fining them $60 million....gotta make that up somewhere
-Football team going to suck for at least a decade and play before increasingly empty seats....so who's gonna pick-up
the bond payments for the recently expanded 108,000 seat Beaver Stadium?
-Bad gridiron team means less revenue from sales of souvenirs, jerseys, hats, t-shirts bumper stickers, etc....gotta recoup that from somewhere.
-All the victims who were swept under the rug will I'm sure be filing civil suits....money to settle those won't be coming from Jerry Sandusky.

First off, Gov. Corbett already has told Penn State it cannot take the fine from its state appropriation. Given the bookkeeping possibilities I doubt that really can be taken seriously.

Getting back on topic, I checked Penn State's online schedule today. Four games will go ABC or ESPN, one Big Ten Network. No one has announced otherwise.

That schedule came out before the sanctions were imposed. I would not doubt at least ESPN will diplomatically try and
defer. Probably by consigning these games to ESPN3.

Are the "ESPN on ABC" games regional or national?

Most likely ESPN 3 will be PSU's new home or SD Lincoln Financial Sports in Murkyvision.
