Will Both K-104.7 AND Lite 102.9 Jingle the Bells this year?

I've already been hearing the Christmas Song of the Day on Lite 102.9 but have been seeing K-104.7's promotion on their website for about a week now that this season, they will be your home for holiday music for the whole season. Being that both stations have played all holiday music for the past few years, will they both do it again this year? It usually starts in mid-November if I remember correctly.

It was so effective last year that it provoked our office to bite the bullet and go with Muzak.

It may happen as soon as Tuesday, November 1st.

And whichever of the two does it first will be joined by the other, perhaps within minutes.

Besides, the syndicated 24/7 satellite-fed all-Christmas format from ABC also starts November 1st, which is a couple of weeks (or thereabouts) sooner than it did last year, so that seems to me a tip-off that a lot of other stations will go all-Christmas quite early this year.

My guess: Nationally, the first all-Christmas format won't start until early on the morning of November 1st, but by the end of that day, we may well see 100 all-Christmas stations around the country with perhaps 20 to 40 other stations following suit by the end of that week.
