Will Dees be streamed live on net

Does anyone know if Rick Dees show will be streamed live on Monday when he debuts, I've been checkin' the website but no links for online streaming yet.....

Maybe if his show is syndicated and some of the affiliates are CC then Yes. Emmis As far as I know does not Stream ANY of their Stations
The Cluster they Bought in Austin USED to Stream Until they went under Emmis Ownership then the streams were shut down. Maybe eventaully Emmis will Stream. I'd Be Streaming HOT97 All Day and night.

They May Stream Soon I just got this from the FAQs at Hot97

Q: Do you stream over the internet?
A: At the present time, we do not have streaming available online. We are working on a solution that will benefit all our listeners! When it does happen we will let you know first!

It USED to Say the are currently no plans to stream in the future

Check this out in Sunday's OC Register:

KMVN/93.9 FM's Rick Dees was supercharged this week as he easily rolled back into morning radio. It seemed as if he had never been away. And with in-studio visitors like Jack Nicholson and Paris Hilton, Dees' team appears ready to go after the major players in town in FM radio.

Patti "Longlegs" Lopez was a good choice for sidekick. Her ability to go quickly from English to Spanish is an asset.

Asked about the inability of some radio fans to tune in to his show – you can't hear the station in Valencia, for example – Dees spokesperson Anna Loynes said, "The station will be doing some podcasting and it is currently in discussions about streaming. Ideally, they'd like to stream at both www.movin939.com and www.rick.com.

I was looking at the SCBA job classifieds today and noticed that KMVN is looking for a new sidekick for Rick Dees.

Could it be that Patti "Longlegs" Lopez who 'looks great on radio' but has little experience is on her way out?

Yeah, right. And, I suppose you're the new consultant to KMVN? Get real....

Listening to Dees, it is quite easy to tell that he gets irritated with the fact she just doesn't "get" how to do her bits. She's wallpaper. Pretty to look at but can't do anything else.

Did ya ever consider that maybe it's part of an initiation? Give Patti a chance without this negativity. Calling Patti "wallpaper" to me is telling of your impatience and partial observance.

Thanks for the laugh. Los Angeles commercial radio isn't college radio. And she isn't even good enough for that. She SUCKS. Period. I've posted that since day one. She doesn't belong on Los Angeles radio. She isn't talented (on-the-air at least) and subtracts from Dees show by having no timing and not being able to "play" along with Dees. She's only there because she looks good, is Hispanic and bilingual and can be exploited for those facts. NO other reasons.

Dees has gone through other side-kicks in the past and this one will be no exception. The sooner the better that she leaves the show so we can forget Dees mistake in hiring a NO talent.

Would you like me to make that any clearer?

With respect, Patti has been on the job for a short period of time. Many times true chemistry develops after a couple of weeks or so with live experience with new partners. Your negativity is telling of bias observation.

Patti's not going anywhere. Dees is happy with her for she delivers the whole package. Crow all you want - she's staying.

Now that doesn't mean that the door might be open for OTHER morning show sidekick slots...like for the news maybe...and maybe other new as-yet-potentially-unfilled slots we armchair quarterbacks don't yet know about. ;)

There is no respect for Patti. Los Angeles isn't a place to "learn" radio. How can there be any "chemistry" when you don't know how to do radio? Even with a pro like Dees by your side, it's quite obvious that he has needed to format her but she still doesn't get it. And I doubt she ever will. Dees introduced her as his 'comedic sidekick' on the first day of the show. She's not funny. That only thing that is laughable about her is how horrible a talent she is (I use the word 'talent' loosely since she may have some off-air talents that will allow her to keep the job).

The only "package" she carries is on her chest...and maybe somewhere lower.

As for the news on Movin', over-produced news intro, stupid terror alert...dump it. Clarence Barnes has been a trusted Dees associate through thick & thin. That won't change.
