Will DFW "Bounce" Soon?

Chan 4 is using its unused space for Mobile TV

Not necessarily. Stations can put several subchannels plus a mobile TV broadcast on their digital frequency.

I would add.. I suspect it will be a long time before you see other Fox/MyNetwork O&Os jump on this.
Fox has been very cautious about innovations. It took them a long time to do HD. They wait to see what will work and what doesn't. I suspect in this case they're trying this particular channel out on stations in their largest markets because they get some financial compensation to run it. If it works, they would roll it out to the other O&O stations. If not, they'll let the contract run its course and ditch it.

Keep in mind Fox's DTV equipment is a bit unusual. It allocates a fixed amount of bandwidth to video for the .1 channel. Subtract another 448 kbps for DD 5.1 audio, and you're left with just enough for two M/H channels, or somewhat more than a single SD channel, but not really enough for one of each. (Well, to be fair, a low-bandwidth SD channel like weather would fit alongside a M/H channel OK, but I expect Bounce TV would look as bad as This TV does on 33.3 if they put it alongside a M/H channel.)

And I'm not positive about this, but from looking at rabbitears.info, it appears KDFI/27 is using the same equipment as KDFW/4. Both have the identical 15.3 Mbps data rate.

According to Rabbitears, right now neither station is broadcasting anything except their respective .1 channels. I suspect one station will get the M/H channels for both; the other could pick up Bounce if they want. Presumably Fox has already decided which station will get the M/H channels; I'm guessing it'll be KDFW/4 but I have no inside info.
