Will DFW ever have an Urban AC worth listening to?

The hits aren't the same everywhere. What works in one market, doesn't always work in others. It's not necessarily "better music", in some cases it's more variety, in other cases it's quicker turnover, in others it's better quality, more new music, etc. It really depends on the market, and what the PD is screwing up. Like I said, music is the #1 reason most people listen to the radio. Other elements "enhance" the overall station.

We're saying the same thing. You all just subscribe to the school of thought that if you don't like it, no one else could like it, and that's why it doesn't work.

It'll take a real, local morning show

I'm sorry...did I miss something? If K104's morning show isn't local then what is it? DeDe, Jade, and Michael Shawn broadcast locally, are very community-oriented and involved with the community, and are, to me, the epitome of a local morning show.

K104's morning show is just your typical, local morning show. Nothing really special about it. I don't know how involved they are in the community, as I've only listened twice.
