WILL GILBERT LANDS

Ex PRO-FM producer and integral part of the morning show has landed the co-host job on The Rhode Show starting in January. The cream always rises to the top!

Getting rid of Will from the morning show at PRO was such a dumb move. I'm sure it didn't effect the ratings much. Pro-FM will always be amongst the leaders. But even a casual listener can notice a chance in the entertainment value of that morning show. The things Will did behind the scenes and on-air, made that show fun to listen to. His genuine laugh alone is noticeably missing. Now it sounds like a bunch of yuckers yapping about whichever piece of show prep they plucked from the pile.

The Rhode Show has picked a real professional, hard working personality in choosing Will for their program. I wish him the best of luck and even more continued success in this heartless business.

that is GREAT news! A great choice and i'm sure it will bring him much success. Congrats Will :)

Is current co-host Patrick Little leaving WPRI? Or just The Rhode Show?
Patrick & Debra will maintain hosting of Eyewitness News Mornings til 9am and then Will, Michaela & the recent co host winner will have the duties on the Rhode Show. Check out the press release

Awesome. People in TV generally get more respect and better pay. There are way to many people in radio who get treated like crap. So I'm happy for him. Getting fired worked out for him...... because from the way I look at it, this is definitely a step up.
