Sorry if this was brought up previously, but it looks certain that NBC will air 10 new episodes later in 2017. The original show last aired in 2006. I always have liked the writing on this show, yes not always great, but more times than not.

Reboot Hawaii Five-O and MacGyver, and now this?
94-year old Norman Lear is even planning to reboot a couple of his classic shows.

Not necessarily. The public likes old stuff. Classic rock radio is getting great ratings. Friends reunions get great ratings. New ideas don't sell as well as bringing back the past.

Apparently this leak was ahead of schedule. NBC sources now saying nothing has been confirmed. But this is likely just more promotion to this project. If anything, it definitely is ON. And Debra Messing says:
