Will HD multicasts get Smooth Jazz in the smaller markets?

With this new HD Radio technology coming out and the potential to add side channels with new or existing formats that might not have been given a chance otherwise, one has to wonder if Smooth Jazz will be given a try on the 2nd channel in the smaller markets(or some big ones) where it hasn't been tried(or has). I think areas like Evansville IN, Terre Haute IN, St Louis, Kansas City, Nashville TN, Knoxville TN, and others could see a 2nd channel devoted to Smooth Jazz. Any other markets that I left out?<P ID="signature">______________

Boston. Boston. And did I mention Boston?

It is a crime Boston has no smooth jazz station. It is the only Top 10 market without a smooth jazz/chill station.

So HD Radio actually uses less spectrum? For instance, you would be able to have two stations closer together without interference, like 95.1 and 95.3.

I thought it would take more, like I know with WRAL-FM 101.5, it has made WZTK 101.1 impossible to listen to in parts of Raleigh. I haven't really researched the new technology for radio yet.
