New Orleans Will I heart ever pull the plug on Voodoo 103.7 and other Questions.

I was looking at latest numbers and surprised VooDoo 103.7 still is in the format its in, when a LPFM Has the same rating?!?!

WFFX (103.7) is pulling the same dismal 0.4 as WNOZ LPFM (95.3) as well as K-Love's Houma based transmitter KLXH (106.3).

Mind you that both stations do not even cover the metro area!! As one is limited to 100 watts and the other is signal limited by 106.1 coming from the Northshore

I know the KLRZ 100.3 hip hop experiment is barely above this at 0.5 even with the On band booster in Gretna.

So what are yall thoughts on this??

It could be Voodoo could be the 'bonus' station to up the better rated station spot rates with the agency buys. An attractive package, even a lower rated station, can be what sways a buy that would otherwise go to a competitor.
