This has been on my mind too. I've worked in radio enough to know that when you lose half of your revenue, but reduce your payroll by 75%, the suits are happy. However, in this case where CBS has really angered NYCers there's so much negative feeling towards WCBS that they either change or they're just not regular thinking people.

I'm not an oldies nut, but when you look at the fact that WCBS was doing pretty well in the beauty contest before swtiching, it was a very bad decision. Let's hope they make it right and dump Jack on their major market stations.
