Will John Sebastian comeback to Nashville???

Wonder what are the chances that John Sebastian [who has just left Chicago's CBS Jack-FM]
will step back down to Crumulus Nashville since Mr. Steve Dickert was taken out of the game?

Does anyone care? Sorry, having to reach for topics these days since it's so quiet on the Nash-RI-Board...

God I hope he comes back.
Oh wait...he thinks he IS God. My bad.
Did you see his quote: "I just posted the best numbers in the history of the format in Chicago"...
or something to that effect. What a team player.
And he quit, I bet. Yeah...that must be it.

At least the boards were fun with Sebastian around. Wonder if WSM-FM employees
had to let Sebastian proof their posts here while he was PD at 95?

That would be no. Sebastian doesn't stay long anywhere. He's ready to move on.

But wait, are you suggesting he would take Dickert's place as market manager. No, not his style. That's going to be John Columbus, you know.

It's official...John Sebastin headed to Dallas to the original "Wolf".

Goodbye Jack Ingram, Charlie Robison, Pat Green, and Cross Canadian Ragweed...

Hello Bread, James Taylor, and Jackson Brown....

Hard to believe this once proud and innovative station has sunk this low..

Chris, one of two replies will occur because of your post. A swarm of locusts from Sebastian the Almighty will invade CC. That, or Shell will have something to say.

I've never said Sebastian wasn't a good programmer...I'm just bothered by
how everything is always about John...
plus...it was always fun to poke a stick at the hornet's nest.

The guy is a career "mover." There's always a chance he lands up back in Nashville at some point in time.

By the way, he IS a great programmer. Just ask him. He'll tell you so. ;D

Texas! Now there's a state almost big enough to handle that ego. What happened, did Alaska not need his talents?

He is indeed the new PD at KPLX, aka 99.5 The Wolf In Dallas, and there was a very nice article on him in last week's edition of Lon Helton's Country Aircheck (Music Edition, published on June 25th).
