Will KDES Ever Stream?

Anyone hear of live streaming of KDES coming anytime soon?

Shouldn't this be moved to the California radio board, since Palm Springs, where KDES is, isn't part of the Los Angeles market?

You're right. sorry about that. I'm in Massachusetts and didn't realize the markets were different.

Never Mind!

Quoting the board heading for this discussion area:

"For discussion of radio in Los Angeles and Southern California. "

Last I knew, Palm Springs is still in Southern California.

Does any station in that market stream? Only two major broadcasters, Entravision ("major" for lack of a better term) and CBS in it and they only own one station each. Entravision's station is satellite Super Estrella (along with KSCA's morning show) and doesn't have a website and CBS, for whatever reason, has a poor stepchild they haven't even considered selling yet (why?).

One market where you can't blame the majors, such as Clear Channel which has never owned a station in the market, for the dumbing down of the way stations are run. But it is no different than any other market.
