Will Kicks/Eagle play any Buck??

Country music legend Buck Owens died yesterday.
Stupid question here......will ANY country station in Atlanta, or anywhere, tribute the superlative country music of this great man?
Why is it so difficult for radio to embrace the past?

Eagle did a tribute to Buck, Saturday night.

> This is a great question.. Its really sad to see radio totally forget
the true legends that made some of the formats. I really miss the way
some small market stations used to do this exact thing. Someone died,
like when Marty Robbins passed, The old WACX had several spotlight
songs. What a shame.. That was fun radio.

I'll suggest something for Cowtip on Tuesday night, unless I'm hosting the show myself. <P ID="signature">______________

It is so difficult for one reason...the old songs don't make stations $$$ because the MAJORITY of listeners (the ones with diaries) don't want to hear them...period.

I heard a big 20 minute tribute to Buck on WNGC, and one on WMOQ out of Monroe.
