That's my opinion. Anyone else want to guess where Koppel might end up?<P ID="signature">______________

I thought Ted Koppel and "Nightline" producer Tom Bettag (who is also leaving ABC News) are supposed to form their own company to produce freelance documentaries and informational programming.

Maybe his future work may be "all over the dial", depending on the individual productions and the arrangements made to broadcast each one.

I can even see a partnership between Koppel, Bettag, and ABC News so that any work Koppel himself appears in (as narrator/host/correspondent) would air on ABC, and the network would be co-producer of such programs (and hold editorial control).

I saw Koppel 16 Hours ago on PBS with Charlie Rose. There is no chance he is going anywhere, however Joseph's answer is exactly what Ted said!

Ted did not want it to sound like he's going anywhere. He artfully dodged Charlie Rose's question last night about HBO, and finally gave in. However Ted might be going everywhere, keep tuned!
