WILL is announcing the elimination of nine positions, including the end of its local weather service:

State/university funding cuts appear to be the culprit. Probably a necessary move, but it represents a cutback of one of the station's most unique (and I thought quite popular) services to central Illinois.

The story doesn't indicate who will be cut besides Ed Kieser and Mike Sola. Ed's been there forever -- got to be more than 20 years.

and searching for WILL on their site is not effective lol, any story with the word will shows up. But that's too bad to hear
