Will Michael Graham Kill Jay Severin's Comeback

Seems to this observer that the weak position of Michael Graham aka "Graham as in Crackers", as a mid day talk host on 96.9 will kill Jay Severin's lead in.
Can't imagine that very dull and unoriginal Graham is getting any ratings and that the majority of talk show listeners have turned the dial to Howie Carr on WRKO during the 3-7 shift. Again, that kills Severin's lead in.

WTKK has to do some REAL advertising outside of its station to let the public know that Severin is back on their station and when. No cost promos on their own station just won't cut it.

Graham has got to go !

Again with the Graham bashing. It seems like every other day you're getting on the board and telling us how bad Graham is. We get it already - you don't like Graham.

I personally think he's a decent talk host and it will be interesting to see how he does in the ratings. If he's as bad as you think he is he'll probably be gone soon and you'll be be able to move on with your life and find something else to harp about. Maybe you could start up a Jay Severin fan club with all the free time you'll have.

Michael Graham is a second stringer. He doesn't belong in a major market. Still, considering the caliber of "Talkers" across the dial on Boston radio Boston is proving itself not to be a major radio market any longer.

Certainly, Graham, who is just a poor quality reproduction of other conservative mouthpiece talk show hosts, should not be a lead-in to Jay Severin. Call it Graham bashing if you will but those are the facts and watch his ratings disaster will bear me out in the next rating book when Howie Carr obliterates him. Hardly a Howie Carr fan here but he is certainly better at his job than Graham.

As to a Jay Severin fan club - there isn't room for anyone else since I am sure Jay is president of his own club...

Graham will get fired before too long after he says something way over the line.

He was just booted from Baltimore for calling the whole religion of Islam a terrorist organization.

In Charlotte a few years back, he got his pink slip after encouraging a Columbine-style shooting for some scenario.

He'll shoot himself in the foot real fast up there.

ENJOY!

WMAL/630 moved to Baltimore? Wow, that'll be news to ABC Radio, which was pretty sure that the station was in Washington, DC. :D

Seriously...I don't really have an opinion of Mr. Graham. I've not really heard enough of him to form a viable opinion.

But for the OP on this thread - what talk hosts DO you like in Boston or elsewhere? That's not a sarcastic question, I'm just curious about people's tastes and whatnot.
