Will my Diary Count?

So I have been randomly selected to keep a lovely diary of my radio listening habits next week (probably one of the last such diaries in the market, based on the threads below). Anyway, I am kind of an unusual Sacramento radio listener. I am a 19 year old student at UC Berkeley and live there nine months of the year, and during the summer commute there a couple times a week to work with a student organization. As a result, by radio listening is skewed about 70% SF radio and 30% Sacramento (even when I am home, I tend to listen to more Bay Area radio online because, as a whole, I like more of their stations). Will Arbitron include my ratings in the Sacramento market or will I be thrown out as an outlier? I plan to do it anyway because I find it fun in a geeky kind of way but I'm just wondering.

Yes, Nevis, your diary will count. Do the geeky thing and try your best to keep an accurate log of your actual listening.

I know you and that you are an honest person who pulls no punches. Not only will it (your diary) count but you are in a position to help or hurt people who run stations and deserve either of the two. Fill it out honestly, which I am sure will reflect the fact that there is a terrific Noon show that you listen too every day, loyally, out of this market on a station packed with shows akin to your politics.... and an SFO AM talker that also reflects your values. If you do then the approprate individuals turning stations into juke boxes and liberal billboards will be rightly punished; and those fine, upstanding stations that reflect your solid, American values will be rewarded..... ;D

For some stupid reason, I misread the word in this subject as "dairy."

Because it is sometimes difficult to penetrate parts of radio, I'd say,
if you're really interested in radio,
milk this opportunity as much as you can.
