Will Premiere/Clear Channel & Hannity Agreement Affect Columbus?

The program (Hannity) will also move from delayed status to live on some of its existing Clear Channel affiliates, providing listeners with up-to-the-minute programming and real-time news and information.

Anyone think this will affect Columbus?

I wonder where else it could go? 610 is the only logical choice in town, unless somehow 98.9 were to pick it up and I don't see that happening. Hannity can be heard live on WHTH (790) out of Newark from 3-6, but that signal doesn't exactly peel paint in the metro.

The report says "some" stations so it may be possible nothing changes in Columbus. I guess time will tell. I don't really see WTVN removing the afternoon "local" show.. that would only hurt their ratings even further.

"News"???

LOL. While many people (not I) might take issue with the defamation-for information substitution, I don't see how anyone can deny that it's almost entirely "views" instead of "news" here -- even if you agree with everything Sean says. Obviously Hannity is part of the talk side of "news/talk."
