Will San Diego get another oldies station?

It is not dead Nationwide, but San Diego, it is a dead format, and it is dying formatwise.

I like Oldies too but that doesn't mean it is profitable.

Any chance of Magic 92.5 picking up Art Laboe's nightly syndicated show like Hot 92.3 in LA? San Diegans would hear those obscure "lowrider" oldies not heard since the days of 1090 Express.

no, since the station is not clear channel anymore, the show has no chance to be picked up

Hi,
Is clear channel the only radio corperation that can use the Weekday version of Art Laboe's show.
I thought that His flagshiop station in fresno is owned by another corp.
And KDES in Palm Springs is not a clear channel station but uses it.
Is there a reason that XHRM can not use it?
They do his sunday evening show.

If I am not mistaken, the Fresno station is owned by Arthur Egnoian himself, so obviously it would carry the program.

The show is not owned by CCU.
