The lawsuit, specifically. I mean, Ive gotten bits and pieces from here, but I dont understand how by suing a company you are guaranteed lifetime employment, especially if you dont have the ratings.

Seeing that the statue of limitations has probably ran out in this case, I think they'll be out of a job soon unless they actually get motivated and work for their raitings, instead of being one live read after another.

I thought he was the "Station Jesus" up there, with all the power and whatnot?? Why doesnt he use his "Divine Intervention" to cast out those "Live Read Demons" that populate the "After Stern to 3pm" slot and replace them with someone with..dare I say...talent??

In all actuality, they'll more than likely make staff changes in 1st quarter 2006. I hope they get smart and bring in some local jocks or, if they go gung-ho with this "Free" format, Penn Jillettes syndicated show.

Regardless of how good their ratings are if I were a talk host the _last_ thing I'd want to be recognized for is my skill at doing a live read.
 
Love 'em or hate 'em, they have numbers...

I have sat here over the past year and read all the P&K bashing that goes on. I have listened to their show and will admit that I am not a huge fan....the two often discuss topics that they are completely clueless about...and Kelly spends the rest of the time trying to hook up with anything male. However, that being said, I have seen their 25-54 persons numbers and they are doing well. So, if you want to sound like the people you loathe and repeat incorrect information about their numbers being low....go ahead. The fact is, people are listening. Maybe they are people like me who enjoy yelling at the radio when the idiots on the air continuously get their facts wrong...who knows. It could also be because they are the only ones doing more than liner card reading during the day. BTW...I base my numbers on the most current trend (yesterday) going back to the beginning of the year...not just one book or one trend.
