Will Tallahassee's Radio Stations will change formact in 2006??

I know Tallahassee's radio stations playing the same songs over and over allmost everyday (yes I have an XM RADIO) but I was asking if one or two radio stations in Tallahassee will change another formact??? If they do they better pick a good one like Dance Hits or something like Spanish not like the same formact that we allready have for expamle we have 2 hip hop and r/b station 100.7 The Beat (WBWT-FM) and Blazin 102.3 (WWLD-FM) they both playing the same formact. I do know Tallahassee never had a Dance formact before but it will be nice to give a shoot for it. WHTF-FM HOT 104.9 is a top40 station they been playing way too much hip hop music utill they clean it up and went back to a top40. Now they play some dance songs on WHTF-FM here and there. My question is Dance music is goining back to Top40??

I doubt there will be changes at either The Beat or Blazin', since both did
quite well in the last book.

Also, I don't expect a Spanish FM anytime soon. The population just isn't
high enough in the market to sustain one, at least for the time being.
If you have a good receiver, try 1580 AM in the afternoon, as they do play a Spanish music show of some kind. And, due to the saltwater effect, WMGG AM 820
from Largo comes in quite well.

WHTF doesn't know what they are. The ownership there did change a few months
back and they flipped sister station 99.9 from Oldies to "Hank," this city's version of the JACK format. WHTF's ratings are not very good, so if anyone in town is going to change, it would likely be 104.9. But I'm not positive change is imminent there either..they've seemed kind of lost in their focus for a while.<P ID="signature">______________
Proudly remembering the days of the hometown "country giant" radio stations now at

True they have seemed kind of lost but with all due respect there are several factors that have played into that 1) up until several months ago the previous management had absolutely no clue as to what was going on there. 2) there has never been much of a promotions budget even back in the prime days of HOT 104-9 they were lucky enough to have a pretty prime batch of talent carrying the station. 3) the format in general is slightly confused right now . . .

Am 1580 does play spanish music but thier singal is not that quite storng as AM 820 WMGG-AM. AM 820 is alot stronger than 1580 and not that the only Tampa Bay's spanish AM station that reach Tallahassee they also AM 680 (Rumba 680)in Tampa that comes in the big bend. The only spanish station to listren to in Tallahassee is AM 820 from Largo Fla. It maybe alittle weak here and there when in Tallahasssee but most of all it really a pertty good singal. They turn down there power at 6pm before the nighttime AM stations begins to pop up. AM 820 sounds pertty good that the only AM spanish station we got that can hold in the tallahassee.
