Will the new 105.3 party hits Drop all remaining Dance hits

Judging by the playists of the new party hits 105.3, they seem to be playing about 1 dance song an hour still. Although it takes alot more than that, for the station to be considered dance Friendly, it is better than nothing. The question is, will Party eventually drop all the remaining Dance, or become more like a Z-1035 CHR. Its still early in the game. The bad news is, it looks like WLIR as we know it, is gone forever, and unfourtunatly, Andre will be let go soon. My guess is, When Andre goes, the Dance will probably go with him.

My Cousin says nothing Dance in the last two hours at least, but she is just glad they play less Hip Hop, and pretty much no Reggeaton, and less talk, she just doesnt get it...lol.... She says she still cant receive the station without static at home, and she lives 13 miles from the tower, WHAT A FLAME THROWER. IM gonna have to check yes.net and see if L.I is on there.

It seems the only areas I was able to get a clear signal of Party 105 was in the Westhampton-Speonk area. They're only 800 watts at 600 feet I believe, which is less than some non-commercial stations. The transmitter is in the middle of the pine barrens. I actually think they had a better signal on their old Calverton tower years back, they were solid in Riverhead all the way to Port Jefferson back then. They were even recieved in some spots in the Bronx.
Not that it matters now anyway, that they now have a bland format and no signal. It seems to be a recipe for going out of business.
For some reason The Bone and 107.1 LIR had better signals. I mean when I can't get a clear signal of 105.3 when I'm under their "nose" at Tanger outlets in Riverhead, something's wrong.
Also 105.3 had no signal in the Hamptons at all, lost them completely when crossing the Shinecock canal.
But at least they were doing something unique, so fans like me made every effort to get that weak signal coming from the middle of the pine barrens. Now, forget about even trying!
