Any insight at all into what's going on at Thunder 103.9 in Dothan? First they are Classic Rock, then they are Classic Hits, now before they even get the numbers from the Spring, they're Classic Rock again. ??????

Don't know. Impatient? Maybe they have caught their second wind?
But the Classic Rock Playlist sounds different this time.
I like it so far.

Second wind? I didn't know they had a first wind...or was that the sound of "wind breaking".

"Aging Female Who'd Rather Hear Hall&Oats than AC/DC Rock 103.9!"

Thunder looked good in its first couple of books - but struggled last time out. Seems like a change back to Classic Rock is a smart move. There's very little radio for men in Dothan.

Of course you would.

Hall&Oates on 103.9 = No threat to 102.5 & maybe a slight bump to WOOF-FM
which translates to best thing for you/radio people.

Amen to that.

I'd like to see a more powerful sports station. WOOF-AM doesn't reach well outside Dothan and are a Sporting News affiliate. IMHO it's sports for old people. Too much talking and rarely an actual game on.

I'd love to have a Fox Sports, Westwood one, or ESPN affiliate here on a bigger stick. 93.7FM has good numbers with men with the news/talk format. I think a sports station in Dothan would work well if done right.

ONLY if they sold out to the radio people!

I don't understand Styles. They have some big sticks and aren't doing a damn thing with them. There imaging is crap, jocks are so-so, and there is no excitment behind them.

It's like, "Let's turn 'em on and hope something great happends"

Oh...and sell spots for $2, why not $2 is better than $60!! Right??
