We have enough of Rush and the Right. What we need is more of the Left on the airwaves! Like this: ;D

In addition, WERE features morning host Bashir Jones and liberal-leaning lawyer Warren Ballentine in middays. Plus the brokered-time "America's Workforce" with Ed "Flash" Ferenc at 4 p.m. Bashir's probably the best new local talent out there... in fact, he's the ONLY local talk talent out there.

To say that there is liberal talk out there because of Bashir Jones, Warren Ballentine, Al Sharpton and Ferenc is extremely misleading. Those shows are not liberal or progressive talk per se, but are classified as urban talk - that is, black talk. Of course it leans left, but that doesn't make it prog talk.

Let's see how bad poor little Rush is being outdone by the "big bad liberals"... last time I scanned my AM radio dial here's what I could receive at my location in Cleveland, who all had the same Rush show on simultaneously:

WKBN 570, WTVN 610, WHLO 640, ?WEOL 930? (I think), WWJ 950, WFUN 970, WTAM 1100, WSPD 1370, and maybe one in the 1400 KHz range, maybe 1440, 1450? Does WHBC 1480 carry Rush? So potentially 7 to 10 stations receivable right here in Cleveland. I don't think WAKR carries him?

I believe Rush is carried in Detroit on WJR 760.

Other Than Sports Play by Play overflow. I dont believe WWJ has any talk shows on its schedule due to it being an All News formated station. WJR in detroit has carried rush for at least a good 15+ Years if not the Entire Rush Limbaugh show run

I stand corrected, was thinking WWJ for some reason, but, yep, WJR. I just did a scan on the car radio, and where I just heard him was on WKBN 570, WHLO 640, WJR 760, WTAM 1100, and WWVA 1170. I'm surprised I didn't hear him on WGR 550 and WLW 700. Couldn't receive WSPD 1370 this time, and I didn't hear him on WFUN 970, I thought they carried him at one time.

WXYT carried Rush before WJR did. WKRC is the Rush affiliate in Cinncinati.

As far as the original topic, there would be no reason to re-brand WTAM, WKBN, WSPD, WHLO etc. as "Rush Radio" since these stations are already established. The North Carolina stations are promoting the fact that they are taking over the show from the long-time affiliate, and since, as they say on Amazon, "people who (listen to this show) also like"..the idea is to put shows on that are compatible with Rush. To attract an audience (before you start screaming agenda).
