Will there be a Canadian TV "suicide" from CBC?

Because of CBC's struggles, despite being the #1 TV news station in Canada, will there be a Canadian TV station "suicide" in the future? I won't go any further from this, because then, it becomes political, and I cannot talk about politics (according to the rules), even if it relates, and has to do with Television and Radio, like the CBC.

CTV is #1 in terms of news in Canada and most of their stations (except for Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton) are #1 anyways.

And No. CBC is a Canadian institution. It needs to be kept because otherwise, media in Canada will SERIOUSLY fall. It will fall when the CBC falls.

CBC News Network is the number one cable news channel, but as far as local news CTV is number one in many markets. I'm not sure what the differences are for the National compared to the CTV news at 11. I have been watching both lately, but I prefer the national.

Who's the #1 French cable news channel, Ici RDI?

I think its LCN... Le Canal Nouvelles dans TVA considering that TVA Nouvelles is #1 in Quèbec.

ICI Radio-Canada Tele may be nationwide but its still not as popular as Quèbec's TVA.

And media in Canada will fail if that one populist (ironic for Canada) wins, because she wants to defund the CBC and make the CBC fall.

This may also be combined by seeing the CBC aa both TV and Radio. With that in mind, it will be both a "TV AND Radio station suicide", which may end up to be a media catastrophe in Canada.

What in the world are you talking about? With the increased funding, the CBC is performing better than ever before. They are pushing quality Canadian programming at a bargain budget it's almost surreal. The right can complain all they want, but the CBC isn't going away for a long time.

Additionally, CBC is a public service. They shouldn't be competing for the ratings to begin with. CTV will constantly be #1 in all major markets considering they have all of the key programs to lead in and out their newscasts AND they're considered to have a better product. (even though in most cases that's false)

Go fix your scare tactics.
