It's a fact that CC made a HUGE mistake by killing Sunny off just as it was about to produce major dollars for the company. They underestimated the other Hispanic stations and how they would react to La Presciosa. Now Clear Channel loses on both ends. The corporate management who didn't bother to think this through should be out of a job. So, while KEGL continues to spin downward, their monthly revenue is a joke, and KLUV along with KVIL hang on to decent numbers. If ABC, (or Citadel) goes with a Sunny format when they finally flip the Twister, they will have INSTANT numbers despite their poor signal because that format has not been really serviced since they shut Sunny down. The only smart thing that CC could do now, which they probably won't because nobody has the spine to admit they blew it, would be to bring back Sunny. It doesn't matter what frequency they put it on, just pick one. If they choose not to, the first company to pull the trigger on this absolute no-brainer will be the #2 AC station within six months and revenue will be enormous. Isn't that the name of this game? Money?
