I thought about this too but I think that they keep the Smooth Jazz on both frequencies with much better coverage of the market. They fill a niche not filled by anyone else and like tpt said, with growth moving north of Columbus, I see it staying the same.
Now the question is, 1550 changed hands... do we see anything change with that? (Yes I realize it was all in the same family so there could be no change at all) How about 103.1 and 1580? I assume those stations stay in the hands of the current owners only a short while until they can find a buyer. Are the two Columbus Spanish-language broadcasts in any danger? I did check 103.1 and 1580 out of pure curiosity and they are both still on the air

103.1 actually sounded pretty good sound-quality wise. I have this mental image of their poor quality stream that they ran on there for awhile before the switch to Spanish so I was not expecting much.
