Will WGBH's shift to more NPR News/Talk hurt WRNI?

On December 1st, 89.7 WGBH will be eliminating it's classical programming--to be placed on 99.5--and broadcasting more NPR news/talk programming. Given the fact that 89.7 has a very powerful signal, and that 1290/102.7 WRNI has recently gone independent of WBUR and trying to establish itself locally, will WGBH be hurting WRNI? I mean this not only in ratings, but also in fundraising dollars.

Since 1290/102.7 won its independence from Boston University, there's been a noticeable improvement in terms of local content on RIPR, as well as beefing up its local news coverage.

With local news coverage on area stations becoming so rare...It's nice that RIPR is actually beefing things up instead of cutting back.

89.7's impact on RIPR in the area?......I'm hoping it will be either little or none.
