Will WLNE Launch a subchannel?

WLNE is the only Providence station without a Sub Channel.Anybody have any idea what or when they will pick up another network for 6.2?
What do you think would work?
Media General signed a big deal for ME-TV.So it would'nt surprise me if WJAR flips to to ME-TV dropping RTV.RTV's new line up is to pre historic for my likeing now.

Could WLNE pick up RTV if WJAR drops it because it is established here in Providence.
A good alternative would be the BLACK TV digital network or how about Country music videos?

Thoughts.....

What pieces would those be? The only mess Global left behind was financial, which only mattered to viewers in that the station had a weak slate of syndicated programming.

Doesn't WLNE have enough on its plate just trying to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the previous ownership?

A subchannel runs out of a box and they already have 6.2 but only use it during elections.

Uh, no it does not. A sub channel requires an encoder ($$$$), a video source ($), needs to be installed, configured, programmed. They have one engineer there. It's not just a simple "adjust a setting and poof comes on a sub channel". It s major financial stake, and probably not something WLNE has the cash for at the moment.
