WHAT will return to the air in one form or another, so enjoy WMID while it lasts. I'm still listening during my travels and love it.

It goes without saying that their signal is amazing for an 890 watt local on 1340.
 
It's a nice station, and they don't have jocks who hire out weird, threatening calls to people's mothers' phones.
 
it wasn't called 'the jersey giant' for nothing! that blaw-knox tower is a work of art. standing in the center when taking doghouse readings and staring at the sky just makes you imagine where the signal may be laning that hour. it really is quite a thrill. too bad gary doesn't purchase WHAT and run a syncronous xmtr with wmid...make a nice regional signal that HE can make money with because HE knows how.
