Will WOGL HD3 and HD4 Continue with 94 WIP/610 wip? agreement

Seems a bit overkill to have Phillies on 1210 WPHT, 94 WIP, and 610 WIP if they symalcast and WOGL HD3 and WOGL HD4 (Phillies 24/7). I would personally drop the WOGL HD4 because it deteriorates the analog signal. But does CBS need this much Phillies coverage? And what will happen with Eagles.

Their must be a plan in place.

WOGL should have Oldies (50's-60's) on one of there HD channels!! (Phillies 24/7) should be moved to one of the 94.1 HD channel since that is now the sports station.

That would make the most sense but listeners in their 60's 70's and even 80's probably don't even know what HD radio is let alone how to receive it.
Also I apologise since the conflict issue is on a different thread.

listeners in their 60's 70's and even 80's probably NOT. But Listeners in there 30's 40's and 50's would and From what I hear most cars 2011 and Newer have HD in them So it would make since to keep sports on a sports station HD Oldies music on an Olides station Yes WOGL is still an oldies station so 50'-60's would fit great on there HD Channel.

Here's what I would do with HD if I was CBS:
94.1 HD2: WFAN New York
94.1 HD3: WJFK-FM Washington DC
94.1 HD4: WJZ-FM Baltimore

Pre-empt the HD4 with what's on 610 at times when 610 and 94 air different things.

98.1 HD2: KYW
98.1 HD3: WPHT

The All 70s channel on 98.1 HD2 has never made any sense to me. All 70s? Isn't that what's on the HD-1 already?

How about WBZ-FM Boston?

It's a toss up between Boston and Baltimore. Philly's teams aren't really rivals with teams from Boston or Baltimore (AFC/AL teams). Boston is the bigger market with the more popular teams (and more teams - Baltimore only has two), but Baltimore is closer.

Neither one has baseball PBP. Actually WJZ doesn't have any PBP, while WBZ has the Bruins and the Patriots.

Maybe Boston is the better call.

New cars have HD Radio (I even have it in my car now). Too bad the Philadelphia HD signals barely make it over the bridges on a reliable basis.

That's what's killing HD radio: lack of receivable signals.

They have "I Love The 70's" - that's "oldies," isn't it?

By the way, as of last week, they changed the imaging guy on WOGL-HD2 - I guess to reflect the current imaging guy on the main WOGL channel... Plus, they're airing stopsets now - on an HD-2 channel... Shoot me...
