Will WRKO and WEEI share ratings with the Red Sox success?

San Diego's PETCO stadium set a new record for a series this weekend, and you can thank The Red Sox.
This is phenomenal success - filling up a stadium in a diagonal direction across the U.S.A. from Northeast to Southwest.

How will EEI and RKO divvy up the spoils?

Does this potential ratings boon give both Dennis & Callahan and the lugubrious Tom Finneran opportunity?

My thought is that WRKO can be as horrible as it wants with a cash cow like The Red Sox on the air.

But here's an additional part of the $64,000.00 question - will people who get Arbitron books be confused about which station has the Sox on? Will WEEI get numbers by default? Or RKO?

I know few people, thought the Red sox had alot of day off, on Wednesday this year ( People that listen to the radio at there jobs). Yes I think People will be confused about what station has the Red Sox on . I think Entercom should keep The Red Sox on One Station ( WEEI or WRKO ) . In my Area , The Red Sox are aways on 103.7, But when I drive to Boston ( 103.7 car radio signal problem ) , I have to remember what day is today ( Tuesday Or Wednesday or is it Thursday ) .

Oh man! You have to remember what day it is? Its not that hard. Wensday means EEI has the game, hell, EEI sells wensday all week. Any other night game is on RKO. If a day game interferes with scheduling on RKO, the game is on EEI. If its that hard to remember what day it is, all you have do is check 680. Is the game on? No? then flip the dial to 850.

Simple, Sox on 'EEI on Wed. and if there's an afternoon game. Both apply tomorrow with the getaway day
in Seattle. What is kind of weird is what happened yesterday when EEI went to post-Sox game talk on 850
in the wee hours despite game being on 680, but it's still fairly simple: if the game's not on 680 it's on 850.
