Will WXNT's Abdul run for VP?

Will WXNT's morning man Abdul carpetbag it back to Springfield, Illinois, to run for vice-president along with Obama? Just think, it could be Obama-bin-laden and Abdul-bin-laden for prez and vice prez.

He had national exposure on the Boortz show last week. A caller said something about Abdul "stumbling out of bars" before Boortz cut him off.

Was he hanging out with Tinsley at one of Indy's finest gentlemen's clubs?

It's a shame he's on a buried station. They did some promotion months ago, but it fizzled. Like him or not, he would be good and stir up conversation if he was on a station that actually had listenership.

Doesn't their share jump after he goes off? That's not a slam at him, it's just that local politics isn't a big rating magnet.
