Williams Heads All-star Online Tribute to Jennings

Hello,

Max from BTVN here with some exciting news.

BTVN is mounting an all-star tribute to the late, great Peter Jennings, with Boston's biggest news stars offering their thoughts on his career and passing.

As our first contributor, we are lucky enough to have CBS-4's Jack Williams speaking to us before anyone else.

To read his thoughts, please go to http://groups.msn.com/bostontvnews/insidebtvn.msnw
... and keep checking back as more of Boston's top personalities continue to leave their tributes throughout the week.

Personally, I couldn't stand Jennings' glaring liberal bias in his
reporting, but plugging your site with 'exciting news' on the
day the guy has passed on is over the top...Let's have a little respect.

"Exciting" was, indeed, not the right word, and I apologize for my use of it. I had, and still do have, the utmost respect for Peter Jennings, and am only too aware of the effects of cancer, having lost my mother to a brain tumor just a few weeks ago.

That being said, when the final product of this tribute comes together, I believe it will present a geniuinely interesting and enlightening portrait of Peter Jennings from a collection of Boston's top television journalists. That, along, with his vast body of work, is surely worth noting.

Umm...I don't think what BostonTVFella said is outta line. Saying his site has Boston area anchor's making comments on Jenning's life and legacy.

CNN is selling ad time around their coverage. His site isn't. I wouldn't call that disrespectful.
